Cher takes her musical life to the Broadway stage

Following last week's news that Spike Lee plans to bring wrestler Mike Tyson's story to the Broadway stage, now Cher is looking to launch a musical biography of her life.

Cher tweeted that she and producers are collaborating on a Broadway show to feature three different Chers -- one from the early days of her career with husband Sonny Bono, one to play her through the Believe tour, and finally the Cher of today.

The star of Burlesque also noted that she will help write the story since "i was there & know stories that no1 knows but me !"

Cher is currently working on her 26th album, which will feature dance music with a song written by Lady Gaga and produced by RedOne. The performer also expects to start a world tour in September.
