A painting by Russian artist Ivan Aivazovsky "View of Constantinople and the Bosphorus," has sold for $ 5.2 million at "Sotheby's" auction.
The canvas, completed in 1856, captures the vibrant life of the picturesque port with Nusrat Tophane mosque, which served as a guiding landmark for vessels entering the Bosporus.
