Elina Danielyan shares 1-3 places in the Grand Prix chess tournament

Grand Master Elina Danielyan was defeated in the ninth round by Russian Alexandra Kosteniuk, currently jointly with Indian Humpy Koneru and Slovenian Anna Muzichik with 6 points shares 1-3 places in the Women's Chess Grand Prix tournament taking place in Kazan.

Armenian Chess Federation informed Armenpress with additional criteria holds the second place, while Indian representative Koneru leads the list of the leaders; Muzichik is in the third place. The games of the tenth stage will kick off on June 21. 

In the scheduled tenth stage Danielyan should strive to score a win with white figures over Russian chess player Alisa Galliamova , a difficult game is ahead for our compatriot in the last stage with Chinese Hou Yifan, a Chinese chess prodigy. She is the reigning Women's World Chess Champion, the youngest ever to win the title, as well as the youngest female player ever to qualify for the title of Grandmaster.
