According to “Yerkir” newspaper cultural centers exist in 854 communities of 917 and only 450 of them work now. It is obvious that cultural centers in villages are opened only from elections to elections and political parties hold there their pre-electoral meetings. “State of Law” party speaks about the current situation of the cultural centers in the villages and promises that if the party is elected it will settle this problem.

One of the villagers in Sisian did not manage to keep his anger during the conversation with journalist and said: “What does “State of Law” want now? Now it will try to cheat the people saying that it will settle the problem of libraries, clubs and especially the deposits. We do not believe.” As “Chorrord inqnishkhanutyun” writes that RPA makes anti propaganda against the “Prosperous Armenia” party in Abovyan town.

Today is the feast of St. Sargis Captain and Armenian newspapers referred to the theme as well. As “Azg” daily writes Shirak diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church and its youth organization held some event devoted to the feast of St. Sargis. The events haves started since yesterday. The events devoted to the holy feast will be continued also today. The Church gives cards to the young people and blesses them to be happy. “Zhokhovurd” newspaper also referred to the theme and tried to find out whether the well-known people in the society know about the feast or not. Singer Sofi Mkheyan told the newspaper: “Yes, of course, I know about the feats and I will participate in the concert program devoted to the feast. St. Valentine is not the saint of Armenian Apostolic Church and despite of this we continued to celebrate this feast. I am happy that now we have discovered feast of St. Sargis.” According to “Hayots Ashkharh” Jews must support Armenians to stand against Turkish nationalism. As the newspaper writes such announcement was made by the head of the Jews’ center in France Nicolas Zomershtain. “We must pay special attention to the Armenians who suffer from the denial. Every Jew realizes that it means. So we must struggle against the denial”, he announces. “Armenian Genocide can not be denied or forgotten because of the pain which Armenians had to bear”, he added. Jewish community will continue assisting Armenians in France.
