Soldier of Azerbaijani army shoots at his fellow soldier

A soldier of Azerbaijani Army shot at his fellow soldier by his service weapon, APA reported.

APA reports that the incident was recorded in a military unit of the Defense Ministry in Gadabay region. Soldier of the National Army, Haji Mazahir Hajiyev, 19, shot at his fellow soldier Yunis Ramiz Mammadli, 19, by his service weapon. Mammadli was taken to the hospital. The incident reportedly occurred because of mishandling of the weapon.

Press service of the Defense Ministry confirmed the fact to APA. The wounded soldier’s state of health is satisfactory.

Committer Hajiyev was drafted from Khatayi Military Commissariat and wounded Mammadli from Barda Region Commissariat.
