B. Sahakyan received Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan

On 21 July Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan received primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan. Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh Republic President informs about this.

Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan congratulated Bako Sahakyan on being reelected President of the Artsakh Republic. The Artsakh religious leader wished success to the Head of the State in the process of implementing the planned projects, raising people’s welfare, developing the homeland.

Issues related to state-church ties were discussed during the meeting. Both sides noted the need of further deepening and expanding them, considering it to be one of the most important bases of state building.
