Shavarsh Kocharyan meets with Nagorno Karabakh MPs

A meeting with Armenia's Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan was held May 15 in the grand sessions hall of the Nagorno Karabakh National Assembly. Nagorno Karabakh National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghulyan, MPs, as well as responsible employees of the NKR foreign political department were present.

At the meeting the top official delivered a speech on the topic "The Correlation of the Principles on Self-determination Right of Peoples and Territorial Integrity". Taking  the focus points of the UN Charter as a basis, Shavarsh Kocharyan clarified the essence of the mentioned principles and their significance in the context of the Karabakh conflict settlement. He said that in their correlation, the two principles actually do not contradict each other.

Wrapping up his speech, Shavarsh Kocharyan answered the parliamentarians' questions concerning the Karabakh conflict settlement, as well as came forth with additional clarifications.
