Presidents of Russia and Armenia to meet on August 8

Presidents of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan will
meet on August 8 in Moscow.

The Armenian president will pay a working visit to Russia, the Kremlin
press-service reported. The two leaders will discuss the key issues of bilateral
cooperation in  the political, humanitarian and trade-economic sectors. Russia
is the  key foreign investor in and one of the major trade partners of Armenia.
The total volume of Russian investments in Armenia has exceeded  2.8 billion
dollars for Jan-May 2012, with the commodity turnover  totaling 434.8 million
dollars. In addition, the presidents are expected to study interaction of Russia
and Armenia within Eurasian  integration processes, in particular, at CIS and
CSTO, as well as  relevant topics on the international and regional agenda,
including the situation in the South Caucasus.
