Apricot export volumes surpass indices of previous year
As of 10 July 2012, the total of 8430 tons of apricot were exported from Armenia, whereas only 7031 tons were exported during the whole 2011. At present we have been still exporting apricots and the export volumes are growing more and more, Armenia's Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan said at today's sitting in which representatives of big exporters of agriculture production took part.
As press-service of Agriculture Ministry reported, Karapetyan also added that the peaches harvest will be also big this year. The exporters assured that they will do everything possible for the delivery of the whole export volume of apricots and peaches to foreign consumers.
