Member of parliament: By covering criminality the authorities promote outflow of population from Armenia

The authorities of Armenia have been covering criminality and developing total lawlessness in the country, chairman of Armenian Pan-National Movement, secretary of the parliamentary faction of Armenian National Congress, Aram Manukyan, said at today's press-conference when commenting on the incident in Harsnaqar restaurant.

"When servicemen are killed by the enemy, the society raises noise and expresses its protest. But in case of Vahe Avetyan, intelligentsia are silent as they understand who they are dealing with, and if the incident happened in another restaurant, its owner would be eliminated long ago. In this case local enemy is more dangerous. The society should fight total absence of authority", - he said.

He also added that the atmosphere of lawlessness and impunity is the main reason of outflow of population, as the developing criminality frightens parents and makes them think about the future of the growing up generation.
