Serzh Sargsyan watched the performance of Armenian sportsmen in London

President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on July 29 watched the performance of Armenian sportsmen who take part in the summer Olympic Games.

Armenpress was informed from the President’s press office that in the capital of United Kingdom the President of the Republic was hosted on July 29 by Armenian open-air festival organized by United Kingdom and Ireland Diocese of Armenian Apostolic Church in honor of Armenian sportsmen who had arrived in London in order to take part in the Olympic Games.

Armenpress had earlier informed that in the framework of working visit to United Kingdom President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on July 27 took part in the reception given on behalf of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. On the same day in the evening Serzh Sargsyan with leaders of other states and high rank officials was present at the solemn opening ceremony of London 2012 Olympic Games.
