As information and public relations department of the Presidential informed Armenpress, the head of the country congratulated ‘’Light’’ 2012-2013 academic year scholarship receivers on the occasion of being admitted to the best highest educational institutions and being awarded to the Fund scholarship, wished them all success in education and life, underscoring the progress of the country stems from each person’s individual success.
President Sargsyan high estimated the efforts made by the Fund for strengthening the ties between ‘’Light’’ students, currently studying in the world’s best universities and those ones who have graduated by the support of the Fund. President Sargsyan stressed the collective force is more powerful than individual power and abilities.
Serzh Sargsyan also noted the importance of young’s aspirations aimed at elaborating projects and applying obtained knowledge for the benefit of their Homeland.
‘’ My meetings with ‘’Light’’ Fund scholarship receivers have become traditional and frankly speaking inspiring. Those meetings every time come to prove no matter where Armenian young man is at the moment, he is related to his Homeland by indissoluble ties.
In the words of the head of the country, the goal of ‘’Light’’ Fund educational program is very simple, make the world’s scientific achievements and successes available for our people, thus serving those achievements for the benefit of our nation, reportedly localizing in Armenia, in the colonies most habited by Armenians , then having investment in the world civilization, in the development of science.
‘’ Since the founding of Armenian statehood we have sent many young people to study in the world educational centers, and surely century dating process have served a grave impetus for the development of our culture, science, education, the development of civilization in general.
In the course of the meeting, Fund scholarship receivers have presented the works initiated by them within the framework of ‘’Light’’ ’s ‘’Let’s develop Armenia’’ program , envisaged the possibilities for the implementation of the programs and initiatives. Serzh Sargsyan had a talk with the students on the issues they are concerned. In the end of the launched meeting the President of the Republic handed new admitted students the certificates for being awarded to ‘’Light’’ Fund.
