Leaders of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund's local chapters visit the RA Ministry of Diaspora
On May 27, RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received the leaders of the local chapters of “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund.
The minister stressed the importance of the Armenia-Diaspora partnership and the Armenian Diaspora’s tremendous contributions to the development of the Independent Armenia, presented the activities that the RA Ministry of Diaspora has implemented in the course of the past three and a half years and particularly the studies conducted through the combined efforts of “Noravank” Scientific-Educational Foundation, Yerevan State University and the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and the more than 40 books published as a result of that collaboration.
Hranush Hakobyan also presented the ministry’s “Ari Tun” program and mentioned that during their two-week stay, the Armenian children visiting Armenia learn more about Armenia and become connected to the homeland rather than having abstract notions of the homeland.
The minister also touched upon this year’s “Diaspora Summer School”, as well as the more than 27 professional forums that have been organized and the programs that are underway.
The gathered registered with content that the ministry has done a tremendous amount of work and said it would be their great pleasure to be in closer collaboration with the ministry.
